I have come to believe that the evaluative process is far more than numbers and data collected as part of a series of tests administered. What I love most about assessment is that it is dynamic and interactive, a process by which a relationship evolves. The statistics simply serve to give credence and clarification to concerns often expressed by parents, teachers, therapists and those closed to the child.

As a mother myself, I understand the challenges of parenting a child who struggles and can sympathize with the experiences of parents who feel overwhelmed by problems that may face their children. I am sensitive to the daunting nature of the evaluative process and am particular in how I speak to parents about test results. It is my goal to be accessible during and after the evaluation is complete. Questions are always welcome and I take pride in ensuring that my findings are understood and put to good use.

I am of the lucky few who love what I do professionally. I am tireless in my efforts to build upon my knowledge base and always looking to develop my skills. Working with children is always exciting as each child is unique in his/her own way. I am constantly learning from the children and families with whom I work. My field of interests are limitless and it is with this enthusiasm that I approach each assessment.
